The energy (qi) that flows through the Liver meridians system determines the free circulation of blood and energy throughout the body. The obstruction of energetic balance within the liver meridian system is generally experienced as emotional tension, which has a damaging effect especially on one's overall health.

They may have a hard time releasing their emotions in healthy and appropriate ways, so these repressed emotions may manifest inappropriately. When the energy is stagnant within the liver system, it may manifest as you being irritable, quick to anger, or sudden outbursts.
